Dollar 10 billion AM Green project to place AP in forefront of global green energy: Minister Nara Lokesh

Vijayawada, Jan 16 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh has announced that AM Green is establishing a 1.5 MTPA Green Ammonia export terminal in Kakinada.
On social media ‘X’, Nara Lokesh said: “Happy to share that AM Green will set up a 1.5 MTPA green ammonia export terminal at Kakinada, powered by ~7.5 GW of renewable energy and ~1 GW of pumped hydro storage.”
A historic first for India, exporting green energy in the form of ammonia to Germany, Singapore, and Japan, with a USD10 billion investment, this project will create over 8,000 high-quality jobs, and positioning Andhra Pradesh at the forefront of the global green energy value chain, Minister Nara Lokesh asserted.
