Documentation of heritage key to keeping alive cultural ethos of Arunachal, says RGU VC

Itanagar, May 25 (UNI) Rajiv Gandhi University Vice Chancellor Prof Saket Kushwaha underlined that accurate and adequate “documentation of heritage is the key to keeping alive the cultural ethos of Arunachal”.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the consultative workshop on the tangible & intangible cultural heritage of the Galo tribe held at the RGU campus at Rono Hills, Doimukh on Saturday.
Emphasising on the adoption of tribal cultural practices in academia, Prof Kushwaha said that documentation of folklore as well as cultural anecdotes and making them a part of the common stream of knowledge using online sources like Wikipedia is of utmost importance.
