DMK MPs hold protest over delimitation issues; LS adjourned till 2PM

New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) DMK MPs Kanimozhi, T Siva along with other MPs on Thursday staged a protest on the issue of delimitation in Parliament House premises, saying it will have a "potential impact' on the state.
Speaking to the reporters, DMK MP Kanimozhi said, "Our leader Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin has been raising this concern about delimitation and its potential impact on states that have controlled their population. So we want fair delimitation, and we want the central government to clarify, but they have only confused us."
Holding a banner that read "Fair Delimitation," the MPs demanded that the central government address their concerns and ensure the delimitation process is conducted equitably.
Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha was also adjourned till 2PM and several opposition MPs, including from Congress and TMC, wore T-shirts that had slogans criticizing the government over the issue of delimitation.
DMK MP T Siva wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan, "Fair Delimitation, Tamil Nadu will fight, Tamil Nadu will win'.
