Diverse political landscape emerges in Assembly by-poll results

New Delhi Nov 14 (UNI)The results of eight crucial Assembly by-elections across seven states and union Territories were announced today, highlighting a vibrant and competitive political environment with multiple parties securing victories.
In Jammu & Kashmir, Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi of the Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) emerged victorious in Budgam, while Devyani Rana of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) triumphed in Nagrota, showcasing the state's political diversity.
Jharkhand's Ghatsila constituency witnessed a strong showing by regional party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) with Somesh Chandra Soren winning the race, reinforcing the party's foothold in the state.
