Dilara Akter creates history as Bangladesh beat Netherlands

Edinburgh, June 5 (UNI) Bangladesh opener Dilara Akter broke a record that has been held for more than six years to help her side to victory in their tri-series clash against the Netherlands
ahead of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup.
Dilara smashed a half-century from just 22 deliveries - the equal ninth fastest ever in women's T20Is - to surpass the previous quickest by a Bangladesh woman from Rumana Ahmed against Pakistan in Lahore in 2019 when she achieved the feat in 28 balls.

Bangladesh dealt injury blow as pacer Mustafizur Rahman ruled out

Harare, July 10 (UNI) Bangladesh have suffered an injury setback with Mustafizur Rahman ruled out for four weeks due to a grade one tear in his right hamstring and meniscal degeneration in his right knee.
The left-arm pacer complained of discomfort while bowling during the opening ODI against Zimbabwe on Monday and subsequent scans confirmed the injuries.
