Dhruv Global School makes its mark in Swimming competition, wins 10 Bronze Medals

Pune, Dec 7 (UNI) Swimmers from Dhruv Global School, Nande, delivered a stellar performance at the divisional and district-level swimming competitions, making a strong impact by winning a total of 10 bronze medals.
On this achievement, the School’s Director Yashvardhan Malpani and Principal Sangeeta Raut congratulated all the players and their coaches and extended their best wishes. The divisional and district-level competitions were organized by the District Sports Office at the Wadia Sports Complex in Ahilyanagar. These competitions were held in the under-14, under-17, and under-19 age groups, said a release today.
On the first day of the competition, swimmers from Dhruv Global School dominated the events. In the under-14 girls’ group, the courageous athlete Anaya Wankhede won bronze medals in the 50m, 100m, and 200m backstroke events with an excellent performance. In the under-17 group, Nia Patange secured bronze medals in the 100m backstroke, 200m freestyle, and 50m backstroke races.
