Dhanbad DC hears public grievances, assures action on encroachments and land disputes

Dhanbad, Dec 16: Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Aditya Ranjan today held a public grievance hearing in Dhanbad, listening to complaints from various parts of the district. Residents of Gomo Loco Bazaar urged the administration to remove encroachment from a common pathway, while people from Topchanchi complained of forced land occupation blocking access roads.
Grievances related to non-mutation of land, denial of possession despite registration, issuance of online rent receipts, and compensation disputes over NH widening were also raised. Civic issues including drainage blockage, water scarcity and illegal gambling operations were highlighted. The Deputy Commissioner directed concerned officials to take prompt action. In-charge of the Public Grievance Cell, Niyaz Ahmad, was present.
