DGP issues key directions in high-level review meeting at Police Headquarters

Lucknow, Jan 13 (UNI) The Director General of Police (DGP), Rajeev Krishna, chaired a high-level review meeting at the Police Headquarters on Tuesday, during which he issued several important directions aimed at strengthening policing, crime control, road safety, and public service delivery across the state.
During the meeting, the DGP directed all senior officers to ensure the timely implementation of proposals discussed during the State-Level Conference of Senior Police Officers–2025 (Police Manthan). He emphasized that since all proposals presented in the 11 sessions of the conference have received in-principle approval from the Chief Minister, concerned officers must take prompt and coordinated action to translate them into practice within stipulated timelines.
Reiterating the state government’s zero-tolerance policy against crime and criminals, the DGP instructed officers to continue strict, effective, and sustained legal action against identified criminals and mafias across Uttar Pradesh. He made it clear that any laxity or negligence in crime control and maintenance of law and order would not be acceptable at any level.
