Developed India vision will be realised by 2047 under Modi's leadership: Samrat

Patna, Jun 18 (UNI) Reiterating his government's commitment to building a self-reliant Bihar through sustained development initiatives, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary Thursday asserted that the vision of a developed India would be realised by 2047 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing the ''Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sammelan'' at Pipalawan in Naubatpur block of Patna district, Choudhary said that while a developed India remains the national resolve, a self-reliant Bihar is the state's goal. He noted that under Modi's leadership, around five crore poor families across the country had been provided permanent housing over the past 12 years, compared to about two crore houses built between 1947 and 2014 under earlier programmes. Bihar alone, he said, accounted for 76 lakh such houses.
Choudhary stated that India's economy had risen from the 11th position globally in 2014 to the fourth-largest today due to major reforms, including the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST). He described Modi as the longest-serving Prime Minister from the Bharatiya Janata Party and credited him with strengthening India's global standing.
