Derogatory remarks against crash victim: Govt official suspended

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 13 (UNI) A Kerala government official has been suspended for making derogatory remarks against the Ahmedabad plane crash victim from Pathanamthitta in Kerala on Friday.
In a Facebook post, Kerala Revenue Minister K Rajan said deputy tahasildar A Pavithran of Vellarikundu Taluk has been suspended for making a Facebook post criticizing Ranjitha G Nair, who died in the plane crash.
"This is a despicable act on the part of the official. He was suspended with immediate effect after the Facebook post came to my attention," the Minister said.
