Deputy chairperson Dr. Neelam Gorhe interacts with women in Chandrapur's Navargaon

Chandrapur, Dec 12 (UNI) In the midst of ongoing Winter Session of the Legislature in Nagpur, Maharashtra Legislative Council Deputy Chairperson Dr. Neelam Gorhe today interacted with women, referred to as Ladkya Bahini (dear sisters) at Navargaon village in Sindewahi taluka of the district, offering them key guidance and encouragement on women empowerment and financial independence.
The event was attended by Additional District Collector Santosh Thite, SDO Kishor Ghadge, Tehsildar Vijaya Jhade, Group Development Officer Atmaj More, trustee of Stree Aadhar Kendra Jehlam Joshi, along with Shiv Sena office-bearers and workers.
During the interaction, the women presented their various issues and demands. Dr. Gorhe addressed each concern with detailed responses, assuring them that decisions taken in favour of women’s dignity and welfare are consistently yielding positive results.
