Demand for grants for 12 departments passed in Manipur Assembly

Imphal, March 12 (UNI) The seventh session of 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly continued Thursday with discussions and voting on Demands for Grants for 12 departments for the financial year 2026–27.
On the fourth day of the session, Leader of the House, Chief Minister Y. Khemchand Singh laid 12 Demands for discussions and voting for Grants on the Table of the House which included Finance Department, Education, Co-Operation, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary including Dairy Farming, Election, Minor Irrigation, Panchayat, Sericulture, Water Resources Department, Horticulture and Soil Conservation and Relief and Disaster Management.
A demands for grants for over Rs 8,200 Cr ( Rs 8208,80,65,000 exact) was passed for the financial year 2026-27 for these 12 departments.
