Delhi to expand ambulance fleet from 331 to 351 for elderly care

New Delhi, Apr 15 (UNI): The Delhi government will add 20 ambulances dedicated to elderly care to the city’s existing fleet of 331, health officials said on Wednesday.
The new ambulances, to be deployed under the Centralised Accident and Trauma Services (CATS), will be equipped with modern medical facilities to provide pre-hospital care tailored to the needs of elderly patients.
The expansion is supported by the Rs 3,034 crore allocation for the health department in the Delhi Budget 2026.
