Delhi: Slight improvement in AQI, but still 'very poor'

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) With a minor improvement, Delhi's average Air Quality Index (AQI) on Friday was recorded in the 'very poor' zone, stepping down from the 'severe' category.
However, according to the Central Pollution Control Board's daily bulletin, national capital's air quality index value was 387, which is 17 points lesser as compared to Thursday's 404, but still is 'very poor.'
Going according to the Indian Institute Tropical Meteorology's (IITM) air quality and weather bulletin for Delhi, there seems to be lesser scope of much improvement for now, as it has forecast that the air quality is likely to be in the 'Very Poor category from Saturday to Monday.
