Patna, Dec 9 (UNI) A Delhi- Shillong Spicejet flight made an emergency landing
at Patna Airport on Monday with all passengers and crew members safe.
Director of Patna Airport Anchal Prakash said that the Delhi- Shillong Spicejet flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Patna airport after a technical snag was noticed in the plane. Crew members sought permission for an emergency landing of the flight at Patna Airport, which was granted, as a crack appeared on the windshield of the plane.
" All the passengers and crew members of the flight are safe and the emergency landing of the flight was smooth without any difficulty", he informed. All arrangements were made for passengers to reach their destinations safely and comfortably, he stated.
As per reports, there was an incident of ' bird hit ' which caused a crack in windshield of the plane while it was flying over Bihar. When crew members noticed a crack in the windshield of the plane, they sought permission for an emergency landing.
