Delhi saw major infrastructure boost under 12 years of Modi government: Rekha Gupta

New Delhi, Jun 12 (UNI): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday credited the Narendra Modi-led Central government with driving major infrastructure and welfare projects in the capital over the past 12 years, citing investments in metro expansion, roads, sanitation, healthcare and public transport.
Addressing a press conference to mark 12 years of the Modi government at the Centre, Gupta said Delhi had witnessed "unprecedented transformation" through Central government support.
"Over the past 12 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transformed the office of the Prime Minister into a medium of public service rather than merely a position of power," Gupta said. She added that the government's focus on development, trust and public welfare had benefited citizens across sectors.
