Delhi LG expresses satisfaction on US President’s congratulatory post

New Delhi, Apr 18 (UNI) Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor and former diplomat Taranjit Singh Sandhu today expressed that it was a matter of satisfaction, after a congratulatory post on social media for him by President of The United States of America Donald Trump.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an event in city, Sandhu said he was sent as ambassador of India to the US, and was selected by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the role.
He said that the US- India relationship is in the national interests of both the nations.
