Delhi Govt warns hospital heads of strict action over shortage of essential medicines

New Delhi, Nov 8(UNI) Following media reports of a shortage of essential medicines across the government hospitals in the city, State Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh warned the hospital heads of strict action.
On Saturday, Singh conducted a review meeting with the Medical Directors and Medical Superintendents of all Delhi government hospitals at the Delhi Secretariat to address the matter of medicine inventories.
During the meeting, Singh directed the health administrators to submit their requirements for essential medicines and medical equipment for the remainder of the financial year 2025-26 within 10 days to ensure a timely and uninterrupted supply.

Delhi-NCR AQI Hits 401-450; Stage-III pollution control activated
