Delhi govt rolls out mobile heat relief units for all districts amid extreme heat

New Delhi, May 6 (UNI) In an initiative aimed to provide immediate assistance to people, especially those outdoors, in extreme summer, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday flagged-off 13 Mobile Heat Relief Units from the Delhi Secretariat.
Gupta also released ‘Heat Action Plan 2026’ booklet, which has listed ways to tackle rising temperatures.
Gupta said her government is taking comprehensive, people-centric measures to deal with the growing threat of heat wave conditions and ensure citizens receive timely relief and are protected.
