Delhi: BJP chief announces new team of office bearers

New Delhi, July 20 (UNI) The Delhi unit president Harsh Malhotra on Monday announced the new team of the state's office bearers for the year 2026.
After announcing the new team, Malhotra said that the composition of the Delhi BJP team- 2026 reflects weightage given to organizational experience while maintaining a balanced representation of different regions, social groups, and a healthy mix of senior and new party workers.
He expressed confidence that the newly constituted team would further strengthen the BJP organization in Delhi, and act as an effective medium for ensuring that the benefits of the welfare schemes of both the Central and the state government, reach every section of society.

Six held, over 9,400 quarters of illicit liquor seized in Outer North Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 15 (UNI) Delhi Police has arrested six alleged bootleggers and seized 9,430 quarters and 1,000 pouches of illicit liquor, during a special enforcement drive against the illegal liquor trade in Outer North district, officials said on Saturday.
According to police, six cases were registered under the Delhi Excise Act following coordinated raids, surveillance and checking operations conducted across vulnerable areas of the district on August 14.
