Deepti credits big-match mindset after historic five-for in T20 WC opener

New Delhi, June 15 (UNI) Star all-rounder Deepti Sharma credited her ability to perform under pressure after producing a stunning spell to power India to a commanding 64-run victory over arch-rivals Pakistan in their opening Group A match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in Birmingham on Sunday.
Fresh from spearheading India’s title-winning campaign at last year’s ICC Women’s ODI World Cup, Deepti once again delivered on the big stage, returning sensational figures of 5/10 as Pakistan were bowled out for 106 in reply to India’s 170/6.
