Death toll in Sigachi Pharma blast rises to 42; search for missing continues

Hyderabad, July 6 (UNI) The death toll in the devastating explosion at Sigachi Pharma's facility in Pashamylaram, Patancheru of Sangareddy district continues to rise, with one more injured person succumbing to injuries.
Jitender, who had sustained severe injuries in the blast and was undergoing treatment at Dhruva Hospital, passed away today, pushing the official death count to 42, according to officials.
In a related development, authorities have identified another body recovered from the rubble, as rescue teams persist in clearing the debris of the collapsed building. The ongoing operation has brought to light the grim reality that the whereabouts of nine individuals still remain unknown.
