De Kock's century spree places him among ODI greats

Visakhapatnam, Dec 6 (UNI) Quinton de Kock's century in the third ODI was more than another big score; it was a reaffirmation of his dominance over India in the one-day format.
The South African wicketkeeper-batsman reached his seventh ODI hundred against India in just his 23rd innings, equalling Sanath Jayasuriya's tally — but the Sri Lankan great took 85 innings to get there.
The contrast between 23 and 85 innings highlights not just the volume of de Kock's runs but the remarkable speed at which he has achieved them.
