DC Aparajita participates in Guhla Assembly Sports Competition

Kaithal, Dec 6 (UNI) Describing sports as essential for mental and physical development, DC Aparajita today said that sports not only provide physical strength and enthusiasm, but they also teach great values of life, like discipline, teamwork, patience, hard work and accepting defeat and trying to win again.
Addressing as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the MP Sports Competition at Guhla Assembly level being organized at Maharaja Surajmal Jat Stadium here, she said, "Sports are a very important part of our lives. Just as our intelligence develops through studies, similarly sports keeps our body healthy. A healthy mind resides only in a healthy body. The real player is the one who plays with full honesty and enthusiasm on the field. Taking part in such a competition is the biggest victory. Because only the one who plays moves forward. So play with full zeal, enthusiasm and honesty."
She further said that whether it is sports competition or other competitions, all are working towards taking the country towards self-reliance. She called upon the youth to participate in such competitions enthusiastically.
