David Harbour steps away from Tony Gilroy's "Behemoth!"

Los Angeles, Jan 8 (UNI) David Harbour has withdrawn from "Behemoth!", the upcoming Searchlight film being directed by Andor creator Tony Gilroy.
While the reasons behind Harbour's departure remain undisclosed, his exit comes after production on the film began in Los Angeles in October. The actor had been attached to appear alongside Pedro Pascal, Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor, Matthew Lillard, Margarita Levieva, and Alexa Swinton, reports DEADLINE.
Harbour is, of course, coming off an intensive press tour for the fifth and final season of Netflix’s Stranger Things, which rolled out in three installments over the holidays and closed out on New Year’s Eve. Already, Season 5 stands alone as Netflix’s ninth most popular English-language series of all time with over 105 million views and counting.
Harbour has also taken on a lot of late on the production front, between the HBO dark comedy DTF St. Louis with Jason Bateman, Linda Cardellini and Richard Jenkins, and Evil Genius, the Courteney Cox-helmed true crime thriller where he stars opposite Patricia Arquette. Upcoming, he’ll also be seen reprising his Thunderbolts* role of Red Guardian in Avengers: Doomsday, and in Universal’s Violent Night 2, where he reprises as a Santa Claus not opposed to violence.
Story details surrounding "Behemoth!" remain closely guarded, though the film reportedly centres on a cellist. Gilroy is directing from his own screenplay and is producing the project alongside Sanne Wohlenberg and John Gilroy.
SVP of Production Rayne Roberts and Creative Executive Cameron Chidsey are overseeing for Searchlight Pictures, reporting to Heads of Production and Development DanTram Nguyen and Katie Goodson-Thomas.
