Data Patterns Q4 PAT jumps 61 pc to Rs 114 crore

Chennai, May 17 (UNI) Data Patterns (India) Limited, a strategic defence and aerospace electronics systems provider, posted a robust 61 per cent year-on-year growth in profit after tax (PAT) for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025, rising to ₹114.1 crore from ₹71.1 crore in Q4 of the previous fiscal.
Total revenue for the quarter more than doubled to ₹406.8 crore, up 109 per cent from ₹194.6 crore in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations stood at ₹396.2 crore, registering a 117 per cent increase. The company reported a 61 per cent growth in EBITDA at ₹149.5 crore, while profit before tax (PBT) also rose 61 per cent to ₹153.1 crore.
On a sequential basis, Q4 revenue grew 217 per cent over Q3 FY25, while PAT rose by 155 per cent from ₹44.7 crore. The strong quarterly performance significantly lifted the company’s full-year numbers.
For the financial year 2024-25, Data Patterns recorded a 36 per cent growth in operating revenue at ₹708.4 crore, up from ₹519.8 crore in FY24. Total income rose to ₹754.7 crore, a 33 per cent increase year-on-year. PAT for the year stood at ₹221.8 crore, marking a 22 per cent rise from ₹181.7 crore in the previous year. The company’s EBITDA grew by 24 per cent to ₹275 crore, while PBT reached ₹295.3 crore, also up 22 per cent. The PAT margin for FY25 stood at 31 per cent, compared to 35 per cent in FY24.
The Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of ₹7.90 per equity share of ₹2 each (390%), subject to approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
The company secured orders worth ₹355 crore during FY25, with an outstanding order book of ₹729.84 crore as on March 31, 2025. Orders worth ₹40.21 crore have been received in Q1 FY26 so far, with an additional ₹91.69 crore in negotiations. Including these, the proforma order book stands at ₹860.47 crore.
Commenting on the performance, Srinivasagopalan Rangarajan, Chairman and Managing Director, said, “We are happy to have delivered excellent growth in revenue while maintaining consistent bottom line performance. Q4 results were on expected lines. This underscores the strength of our strategy, execution capabilities, and commitment to operational excellence. We remain optimistic about robust order inflows and confident of sustaining this growth trajectory.”
Data Patterns is engaged in the design and development of high-performance electronic systems for defence and aerospace applications, with capabilities across radars, electronic warfare, avionics, communications, and satellite systems. The company works closely with HAL, BEL, DRDO, and ISRO.
