Cyber crime investigation training begins at Ranchi police institute

Ranchi, June 8 (UNI) A five-day training programme on cyber crime investigation began at the Research Training School, Hotwar, here, on Monday with experts from the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), Hyderabad, imparting training to Jharkhand Police personnel.
The programme was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar Sinha.
According to an official release, the training will cover digital payment fraud, collection of electronic evidence from crime scenes, social media-related offences, call detail record (CDR) and internet protocol detail record (IPDR) analysis, dark web investigations and cryptocurrency-related crimes.

Rs 17-cr redevelopment transforms Odisha’s Paralakhemundi railway station

Bhubaneswar, Jul 16 (UNI) Paralakhemundi Railway Station in Odisha's Gajapati district has been redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) at a cost of Rs 17 crore, and is among the 59 stations in the State to be upgraded under the programme.
The revamped station is scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.
The redevelopment, which has achieved 100% physical and financial completion, blends the station's heritage with modern passenger amenities.
