Crime Branch arrests wanted accused in Bhalswa dairy murder case after 14 months

New Delhi, December 13 (UNI): The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police has arrested a long-absconding accused in a sensational firing and murder case registered at Bhalswa Dairy, an official said on Friday.
The accused, Subhan Khan (23), had been evading arrest since October 2024 in connection with a violent incident that left two persons injured, one of whom later died, police said.
Subhan Khan was wanted in an FIR registered at the Bhalswa Dairy police station under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and the Arms Act. The process of proclamation under Section 84 of the BNSS had already been initiated against him by a court due to his prolonged absconding.
