CPI(M) condemns Delhi bomb blast, calls for vigilance and justice

New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (Marxist) today strongly condemned the recent bomb blast near the Red Fort metro station in Delhi, expressing deep condolences to the families of the victims.
In an official statement, the CPI(M) Polit Bureau described the attack as “dastardly” and called it a grave assault on the national capital.
“The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) strongly condemns the dastardly bomb attack in the heart of the national capital, Delhi,” the statement read.

Delhi farmers to get digital identity, geo-tagged land records

New Delhi, Dec 14 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced a major decision to digitise the entire agricultural framework related to farming and farmers in the national capital. Under the Centre’s Special Assistance to the States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme, a digital identity of farmers and a geo-mapped record of agricultural land will be created in Delhi, making the state eligible for incentive-based financial assistance from the Central Government.

Toxic air tightens its grip on Delhi-NCR; Noida stays in ‘severe-plus’, NCR tops worst-AQI list

New Delhi, Dec 14(UNI) A thick blanket of smog continued to worsen the air quality in the National Capital Region on Sunday, with six cities from the region recording ‘severe’ air quality index (AQI), breaching the 400 mark. Noida fared worst in the national pollution listings with AQI readings of 466, surging from a previous day’s readings that stood at 455, both falling in the “severe plus” category.
