Covid-19: CII Mysuru donates critical medical equipment

Mysuru, May (UNI) CII, Mysuru has created a Covid Task Force to assist the District Administration in its fight against Covid-19 and to help the ailing patients during this Second wave of COVID.
According to a press release here on Thursday, the CII has initiated a series of funding and donation activities, which includes funding and procurement of Ambulances, Ventilators, Oxygen generating plants, Oxygen concentrators, Oxygen Cylinders, Beds and Cots and medicines. As part of this initiative, Mr Pavan Ranga, Chairman CII and Supriya Salian, Vice Chairman handed over 2 ventilators to Prof Dr C P Nanjaraj, Dean, Mysore Medical College, Dr Dinesh and Dr Mohan from District Hospitals today at K R Hospital sponsored by NR Group and Excelsoft Technologies.
Speaking about the current Covid situation, Mr Pavan Ranga, Chairman, CII, Mysuru said, “It is a challenging time for all of us, hence it is very important for us to join our hands and support the government in this battle.From CII, Mysuru we are doing everything possible to help our district administration to overcome this pandemic. The government requires not only medical infrastructure, but also more people for several activities like counselling, war room management and paramedical assistance.”
