Cousin killed in Aligarh; accused calls police after incident

Aligarh, Dec 8 (UNI) A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his maternal cousin after inviting him home for a drinking session. The accused later stayed in the house overnight, and informed the police himself in the morning, officials confirmed on Monday.
The incident took place in Rasupur village under Harduaganj police station in Aligarh.
According to police sources, Bunty, a resident of Rasupur, called his cousin Devaraj (also known as Debu), a resident of Bhatauli village in Vijaygarh, to his home on Sunday night. The two spent time together on the upper floor of the house. During this period, the situation reportedly escalated, leading Bunty to attack Devaraj, resulting in his death. He first opened fire and later brutally hacked the victim to death with a knife.
