Bengaluru, May 18 (UNI) A court has issued an arrest warrant against Prajwal Revanna, the Member of Parliament representing Hassan, on Saturday in connection with the Karnataka sex video scandal.
The warrant comes following a requisition made by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) currently probing the case. Despite being served a notice, Revanna did not appear before the investigating team, according to reports.
Earlier on Saturday, former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) supremo HD Deve Gowda broke his silence on the sexual harassment case involving his son HD Revanna and grandson Prajwal, emphasising that no one should be spared in the investigation. He underscored the involvement of several individuals in the case, stressing the need for action against them.
