Couple killed by unidentified persons in UP's Ballia

Ballia, Feb 10 (UNI) A couple was attacked with sharp edged weapons and killed by unidentified persons in Khejuri area of Ballia district in Uttar Pradesh.
Police sources here on Monday said that Shyam Lal Chaurasia (55) and his wife Basmati Chaurasia (50), residents of Masoom Pur village under Khejuri police station area of the district, used to run a coaching class in their house. "Late on Sunday night a passerby informed the police about their bodies lying on the roadside near their house," they said.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Omvir Singh said that marks of attack with a sharp-edged weapon have been found on the bodies. "The police is trying to find out the reasons for the murder. So far, there is no mention of any kind of enmity with anyone," he said.
