Convicted murder accused arrested from in-laws’ home after fleeing Barabanki court

Barabanki, Feb 9 (UNI) Police in Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh on Monday arrested Suraj, who had absconded from court after being convicted in a murder case, following an intensive search.
Coincidentally, he will now be produced before the court and sent to jail thereafter.
The incident dates back to Saturday, when Suraj, a resident of Rohna Mirapur in the Subeha police station area, appeared before the Court of the Additional District and Sessions Judge (Court No. 2) for the final hearing in a ten-year-old murder case. After completion of arguments, the court held him guilty of murder and scheduled Monday for the pronouncement of the sentence.
