Construction of 36,811 houses to be completed soon in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, May 12 (UNI) The construction of 36,811 houses will be completed soon by Kudumbashree, which is the implementing agency for constructing houses for homeless in Kerala.
"Out of the 1,27,048 houses approved by the Union Government, the construction of 90,237 houses have been completed so far by the Kudumbashree working as the nodal agency under the joint auspices of the central and state governments and municipalities. The remaining will be completed soon," sources said.
The project also paves the way for many homeless families to live with dignity in the society by providing them with secure and habitable houses.
