Congress to launch nationwide campaign against Modi govt by June-end, focus on price rise, exam crisis and electoral issues

New Delhi, Jun 11 (UNI) ‎The Congress on Thursday announced that it will launch an extensive nationwide campaign against the Narendra Modi-led government by the end of June, with the outreach programme expected to continue for two to three months across the country, focusing on issues such as price rise, unemployment, the alleged examination crisis, and what the party described as threats to democratic institutions and electoral processes.
‎Addressing the media after a meeting of AICC General Secretaries, Iin-Charges and Pradesh Congress Committee Presidents at Indira Bhawan in New Delhi, Congress general secretary (organisation) K C Venugopal said the party had decided to take its political battle directly to the people through coordinated national and state-level campaigns.
‎"The campaign will start by the end of this month and continue for two to three months across the country. The Prime Minister should be answerable for the economic situation in the country, the examination crisis and the price rise affecting common people," Venugopal said.
