Congress to hold “We are Marathi, We are Indian” Language Workshop in Mira Road on July 15

Mumbai, July 12 (UNI) In an effort to reduce hostility between Marathi and Hindi-speaking communities in the Mira-Bhayandar area and foster dialogue between the two, the Congress party will organise a language workshop, called “We are Marathi, We are Indian”, on Tuesday, under the leadership of state party president Harshvardhan Sapkal.
"Unity in diversity is the true identity of India. People of different castes, religions, and languages live together harmoniously in our country. In Mumbai and Maharashtra especially, people from across the nation live and work together for employment and business. However, in the past few days, disputes have been sparked over the language issue," Sapkal said in a release here today.
"The state government itself is responsible for initiating these conflicts. BJP leaders from outside Maharashtra, such as MP Nishikant Dubey, are further inciting the issue through provocative statements," he alleged.
