Congress's false guarantees will be answered in the municipal elections: Himachal BJP chief

Nahan, May 12 (UNI) BJP's Himachal Pradesh state President Rajiv Bindal on Tuesday accused the Congress of having come to power in the state by giving "false guarantees" and through "deception and fraud" and prophesied that the people would give a befitting reply in the upcoming municipal and panchayat elections.
Elections will be held on May 17 for 23 municipal councils, 25 gram panchayats, and four municipal corporations across the state.
Bindal said during the 2022 assembly elections, Congress leaders went door-to-door giving lavish guarantees. Unemployed youth were made to fill out forms and were promised permanent jobs and old pensions, but even after 42 months, no unemployed person has found employment. He said today the youth of the state feel cheated and disappointed.
