Congress running ‘Rahul Bandhu’ with farmers’ funds: KTR

Sircilla (Telangana), Mar 9 (UNI) Bhrat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao on Monday alleged that the Congress government in Telangana was diverting funds meant for farmers under the Rythu Bandhu and sarcastically running a new programme called “Rahul Bandhu.”
Speaking at a felicitation programme for newly elected councillors in Sircilla, KTR criticised Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for allegedly delaying the release of Rythu Bandhu assistance to farmers despite Congress’ earlier promise to enhance the scheme.
He alleged that farmers across the state were waiting for their payments while the government had defaulted on the scheme several times and once again delayed the assistance this season.
