Congress raises concerns over women’s quota, delimitation

Ranchi, April 16 (UNI) The Congress on Thursday expressed support for women’s reservation in legislatures but raised concerns over its linkage with delimitation, calling for immediate and transparent implementation.
State Congress media in-charge Rakesh Sinha said the party has consistently supported women’s empowerment and adequate political representation for women.
He, however, said linking the implementation of reservation to delimitation could delay the process and create uncertainty.
