Congress protests outside residence of Minister of Urban Development

Bhopal, Dec 10 (UNI) A large number of activists of the opposition Congress today staged a protest outside the official residence of Madhya Pradesh Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing, Pratima Bagri, in Bhopal and demanded her resignation over allegations that the police recently arrested her brother on charges of smuggling ganja (cannabis).
The protesters reached outside Pratima Bagri’s residence in the high-security 74-Bungalows government colony and raised slogans like ‘Pratima Bagri istifaa do’, and ‘Mohan Yadav sarkaar murdabaad’. Some Congress workers even smeared black paint on Pratima Bagri’s name plate outside the main gate.
The police were informed and a heavy police force rushed to the spot. They dispersed the activists and brought the situation under control.
