Congress hails 'Vande Mataram' on 150th anniversary, Kharge slams BJP, RSS

New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) The Congress party today paid a resounding tribute to the national song 'Vande Mataram' as it marked its 150th anniversary, celebrating the song as a potent symbol of India's unity, strength, and devotion to the motherland.
In a message, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge stressed the song's significance. "Vande Mataram is not just a song; it is a symbol of our nation's unity and diversity," Kharge stated. "It has been a powerful force in our freedom struggle and continues to evoke national pride and unity."
Kharge also used the occasion to launch a sharp criticism against the BJP and its ideological parent, the RSS, questioning their commitment to the national song.
