Congress govt responsible for deaths of three farmers: Telangana BJP Chief

Hyderabad, May 6 (UNI) Telangana state BJP President N. Ramchander Rao,on Wednesday alleged that the Congress government’s “incompetence” was responsible for the deaths of three farmers in Luxettipet mandal of Mancherial district during heavy rains and strong winds at grain procurement centres.
In a statement, Rao expressed grief over the deaths of Gundarapu Venkatesh, Tanugula Abhiram and Lachanna, who reportedly died while trying to protect their harvested produce at grain collection centres.
It is heartbreaking to see farmers, who feed the nation, lose their lives while trying to protect their produce and "This tragedy is a direct result of the Congress government’s failure,” he said.
