Congress appoints Nizam Uddin Bhat as Chief Whip of party in J&K Assembly

Srinagar, Nov 4 (UNI) All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Monday appointed senior leader and Bandipora MLA Nizam Uddin Bhat as the Chief Whip of the party in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.
His appointment was approved by the Congress president.
“Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has approved the proposal for the appointment of Nizam Uddin Bhat as Chief Whip of Indian National Congress in Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly”, Congress leader K C Venugopal wrote to Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Tariq Hameed Karra today.
