Cong-ruled states turning into safe havens for terrorists: Vijayendra Yediyurappa

Bengaluru, Sept 10 (UNI) Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the Congress, accusing it of turning Congress-ruled states into safe havens for terrorists and criminals.
His remarks came in the wake of formal accusations by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is probing the Rameswaram Cafe Bomb case, that there was a disturbing trend of targeted attacks on national interests and nationalist organisations.
"The investigation has exposed a pattern where terrorist organisations are prioritizing attacks on nationalist groups, which is a dangerous sign of their intent to destabilise the country," Vijayendra said here, emphasising that the agenda of terror groups is a direct threat to national security.
