Cong leader flays PM's 'monologue' on Op Sindoor

Bengaluru, May 13 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and IT Minister Priyank Kharge on Tuesday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the nation on Operation Sindoor, accusing him of opting for a monologue rather than engaging in dialogue with the Opposition and the people of the country.
Speakig to reporters, Kharge said it has been over two weeks since the start of Operation Sindoor, yet the Prime Minister has chosen not to brief Parliament or call an all-party meeting. "While the Prime Minister is ready to speak to world leaders about Pakistan, he has failed to address his own countrymen and the political parties within India," he said.
The Congress leader reiterated his party's position, saying it stands firmly with the government in any decisive action taken in the interest of the nation. "However, staying silent for so long and coming out with yet another lengthy monologue helps no one," he said.
