Conditions favourable for onset of southwest monsoon over Kerala in next 24 hours: Met

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), May 29 (UNI) The conditions continue to become favourable for the onset of the Southwest Monsoon over Kerala during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that the conditions also continue to become favourable for further advance of the Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of the South Arabian Sea, remaining parts of Maldives and Comorin area; some parts of Lakshadweep area, Kerala, some more parts Southwest & Central Bay of Bengal, Northeast Bay of Bengal and some parts of Northeastern states during the same period.
Strong winds with a speed of 30-40 Kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
