Conditions favourable for further advance of SW Monsoon

Pune, July 24 (UNI) The Southwest Monsoon has been Vigorous over Jharkhand, west Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch and active over east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat Region, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and coastal Karnataka. It has been subdued over east Uttar Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Jharkhand, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and coastal Karnataka and at many places in West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, west Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Telangana, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Haryana, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Interior Karnataka and at isolated places in Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, west Rajasthan, east Rajasthan, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu.
