Comply with the Solan civic poll Code of Conduct: DC

Solan, May 10 (UNI) District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner of Solan, Manmohan Sharma, on Sunday urged all candidates for the Urban and Panchayati Raj Bodies 2026 elections to ensure full compliance with the Model Code of Conduct.
Sharma said transparent and error-free elections are a vital part of a healthy democracy, and the role of candidates in this regard is paramount.
The District Election Officer stated that necessary instructions have been issued regarding campaigning, the use of posters, flags, notice boards, hoardings, etc., meetings, and election expenditures to ensure compliance with the Model Code of Conduct. Compliance with these guidelines is essential.
