Complete tourism projects before monsoon: Jaiveer Singh

Lucknow, May 14 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Minister for Tourism and Culture Jaiveer Singh on Wednesday emphasised on the need to expedite the work and directed that all incomplete projects must be finished before the onset of the monsoon.
During a review meeting at the Directorate of Tourism to assess the status of ongoing construction projects sanctioned for the financial year, the Minister issued directives to the departmental officials to conduct on-ground reviews of project progress, asserting that there will be zero tolerance for delays or compromise in construction quality.
He also warned against the use of any substandard materials which will lead to severe action against the contractors including full financial recovery of project costs.
